Our Story

Runway Athletics was born during a time when the world slowed down — but our passion for the game never did.

Three women athletes — Jen, Mary, and Shari — longtime teammates and friends, found themselves asking a simple question during the pandemic:

Why can’t athletic wear be both high-performance and undeniably stylish?

After years of playing competitive tennis, we knew the struggle all too well. Most sportswear forced a choice — performance or personality. It was either technically sound but uninspired… or fashionable but lacking durability. We wanted more. We believed women deserved more.

So we created it.

Runway Athletics was built on the belief that confidence changes everything. When you look strong, you feel strong — and when you feel strong, you play fearless.

From tennis to pickleball to golf, our pieces are designed for movement, performance, and presence. Every sweater, skirt, bag, and hat is thoughtfully crafted to deliver function without sacrificing flair. Bold color. Feminine strength. Elevated sport.

But what started as an idea between three teammates quickly became something bigger.

It became a community.

A network of women who believe in showing up fully — competitive, confident, and unapologetically stylish. Through partnerships and involvement with organizations like Girls Rule the Court, CATA / USTA Texas, Susan G. Komen, and JDRF, we are proud to align our brand with causes that strengthen women and families beyond the court.

Runway Athletics isn’t just apparel.

We are women who play hard, support each other fiercely, and believe that what we wear should reflect who we are.
